We love running in this city because the cold makes you stronger, it has the oldest and best marathon and, if you're bonking, just yell: "THE RED SOX SUCK!!!!" A lunatic will chase you, giving you a burst of energy.
Did you know that Boston is home to the first chocolate factory in the USA? (Suck it, Pennsylvania!!!) The first American lighthouse? The first college in North America? The first public beach? The first American subway? (Not the sandwich place, the transport kind.) And OF COURSE the world's first annual marathon?
