Jasmin Paris has become the first woman to finish the Barkley Marathons. With only 99 seconds to spare, until the 60 hour cut-off, she completed the 100 mile route, becoming an ultra-running legend.

It's been quite a week for Runner's World commissioning editor, Kate Carter. Marathoninvestigation.com raised some concerns (on 30 January) about her results in the London Landmarks Half Marathon and the London Marathon.
